Welcome to our blog - Paws & Explore

We are here to keep it honest for you. Anyone who cares about where they are traveling to will spend time researching it before they go. We do it. What we have learned is that there is far too much information that isn't relevant and often times recommendations can be misleading. You'll read 10 different blogs telling you the top instagram-worthy places and you get there and realize it wasn't anything like you were expecting. We tell you how it is and what we found was worth the hype. While we wish it was easier to niche down and only talk travel, it's just not possible. So, if you're someone who still ends up with some fur in your suitcase...welcome. While our international travels aren't dog friendly, our local roadtrips are. You'll get our best advice on it all because our goal is to make your lives not only easier, but better (your dogs' lives too).

Supervisor

Jeter

Rescued as a puppy in 2010, Jeter has been with us the longest and has earned his role as supervisor. No longer having to do the dirty work, he takes pride in making sure everyone else is doing their job. He strongly enforces a work-life balance and lets you know when it's time to stop typing and start petting. As Jeter enters retirement age, he has agreed to still help us part-time, but prefers to still be considered the boss. Nonetheless, his old age allows him to recommend what the others can't: senior dog products.

Lead Product Tester

Darwin

Rescued from Korea in 2021, Darwin has several years of experience with product testing since joining us. While his primary focus is treats and toys, he has proven up to the challenge when presented with other products during evaluation. Darwin gives the final 'yes or no' on anything we recommend to other dog parents. He enjoys working from home, but has shown he is still very much up to the job on the road. Versatile and dedicated, Darwin is excited and ready for any new project.

Quality Control

Moo

Having a not so great start to her life, Moo has made a drastic turn around since welcoming her to our team in 2022. Known as a "chewer" with some sensitive tummy issues and separation anxiety, her role is crucial to helping other dogs like her. She has shown a passion in wanting to ensure dog parents get their money's worth, even if that means several trial and error attempts. Only those of the proven highest quality will get Moo's stamp of approval.

Product Security

Piper

While Piper is the newest member of the team, she certainly isn't the youngest. Previous years of neglect have done its time on her, so she's made it known that work is not a priority in her life right now. However, due to her mere existence and excessive amount of hair, she ensures the need for quality cleaning and grooming products. This continues to help us find the best and most efficient tools on the market without the need of any effort from her.
